The video captures the intended feeling of the track which is a celebration of the sun as a massive source of joy and energy.
Shot on film over the course of three days in the sun drenched desert of Palm Springs, California, it follows Max, an enigmatic, mulleted local steelworker with no previous acting experience - recruited via an open Reddit casting call.
The narrative was formed on the fly as the director and team followed Max around his hometown and introduced him to techno ("tech - what?") music, creating a uniquely palpable atmosphere that is at once meditative and but also pulsing, just as the sun itself.
